I'm Christian Blaze. I'm a nuclear electronics technician in the Navy's submarine force, working in instrumentation and control. At the same, time I'm finishing a B.S. in electrical engineering and a B.S. in computer science at Arizona State, in Barrett, The Honors College. I graduate in May 2029.
Most of what interests me sits between those two jobs: nuclear instrumentation and control, embedded systems, and FPGA design.
This site will hold writeups of that work. Right now it mostly holds this paragraph. I'd rather post three projects I've actually documented than a dozen I haven't, so it's going to fill in slowly.
First up is a custom analog front-end board. It takes signals from my arbitrary waveform generator, digitizes them, and hands them off to a Kria KR260. The point is to have a bench I trust before I build anything that depends on one: a known path from an analog input to the FPGA. When it's done I'll write up the design decisions, the measurements, and whatever I got wrong on the first spin.
